I went into the process expecting straightforward coding checks, and early on it matched that.

The interviewer started with a basic introduction and then gave Python and FastAPI coding questions—three Python problems and one FastAPI problem. I was able to code the solutions and produce the correct outputs.

Even with that, I wasn’t selected. The part that hurt wasn’t just the rejection—it was the lack of any update. I had to contact HR multiple times to figure out the result, and I never received a clear reason or explanation.

In the end, I didn’t get an offer, and the whole experience felt unnecessarily discouraging because it didn’t close the loop after the work I completed.
