I was referred into the process and it started with a telephone round where the discussion covered my experience and skill set.

Soon after, I scheduled for a technical interview within about a week.

The technical session moved fast, and I actually got feedback the next day. Even though it happened quickly, it still felt like the process was fairly direct: talk about my background first, then test the technical fit right after.

I didn’t receive an offer, and being rejected so soon after the technical round left me with a clear, immediate answer but not much time to make sense of what specifically didn’t land.
