I met a manager and the team in a way that felt deliberately interactive and focused on how I’d worked in the past.

The interview centered on my current project work and what I’d done, and it naturally expanded into how my skills could fit into future initiatives and the team’s evolving needs.

There wasn’t a heavy “gotcha” vibe. Instead, the conversation was more about mapping my experience to where the work was going, and I felt like they were trying to understand my trajectory rather than just my answers.

It was an overall constructive discussion, but it didn’t lead to an offer.
