My biggest takeaway wasn’t the technical content—it was how messy the process felt on the operations side.

I dealt with constant scheduling pings just to make myself available, and it dragged the day out because the recruiter seemed to spend a huge chunk of the interview time just trying to get the panel ready. There were so many calls that it made it hard to stay focused, especially since I had other work.

As the timeline stretched, I kept waiting for HR to respond after the interviews, and there was very little clarity once the technical rounds ended. Even after I had discussions late in the process about next steps like salary, I didn’t see an offer letter or any meaningful update for a while.
