My first real contact was a telephonic interview that lasted around 45 minutes.

It was project-focused, with technical questions about core Java, hibernate, SQL queries, and spring frameworks. Then the interviewer gave me a practical scenario involving three different tables.

The goal was to retrieve information from one table while using joins, especially when an ID from one table was present in two different tables. It felt like a solid test of understanding rather than trivia, and overall the difficulty was average. I moved forward in the process, but I didn’t end up getting an offer.
