Tata Communications Software Engineer interview experience

Some questions were straightforward computer fundamentals, so a few parts felt easy to answer.

They also asked logical questions tied to networking, which made the technical rounds feel more like concept application than memorization. By the time I reached HR, the conversation stayed aligned with how I approached work and what I’d done in my projects.

Overall, the difficulty matched the “average” level I was expecting, but I still didn’t receive an offer. My main takeaway was that the role really leaned on telecom and networking reasoning, so any shaky fundamentals would show quickly.
