The interview started as a phone screen, and it was genuinely difficult.

They asked a lot of questions that went back to my resume and my school background. The tone felt a little harsh, and it put me on the back foot early.

I didn’t have great answers ready to every question they followed up with, so it became harder to regain momentum as we went. By the end, I felt like the call exposed gaps I hadn’t realized were likely to matter.

I didn’t receive an offer. Even so, I respected that the questioning was direct—it just didn’t work out in my favor because I couldn’t deliver the kind of answers they were pushing for.
