The interview felt deliberately difficult and frustrating from the start.

The interviewer seemed to carry a mindset built around rejecting me, and the whole process felt like it was about hunting for flaws instead of evaluating what I knew.

A lot of what I was asked wasn’t even closely tied to SDET work. Instead, the questions were mostly theoretical—things that felt closer to what a fresher would be expected to answer—so I couldn’t connect the discussion to the kind of real QA responsibilities I was trying to demonstrate. I walked away with a strong sense that the structure was aimed at pushing me out rather than learning.
