My technical journey felt very rooted in Java and backend fundamentals.

I started with a quick opening like “tell me about yourself,” and then the questions stayed focused on core concepts and how I’d apply them. Across the discussion, I got asked about OOP and scenarios, along with basic programs—things like logical coding problems such as factorial and palindrome-style exercises.

Spring Boot and REST API topics also came up, along with Hibernate and the general microservices angle. One part of the conversation had a more performance improvement feel and scenario-based questions, and I was expected to explain concepts clearly rather than just provide answers.
