This process felt like a poor fit for me from the start.

The technical part leaned heavily toward hard LeetCode-style problems, and I got the impression they expected the solution up front rather than working through it with me. On top of that, the questions didn’t feel relevant to the role—I felt like they were more about memorization of problem patterns than applying them thoughtfully.

When I forgot an API detail and asked for help, the technical recruiter didn’t respond well to it. Overall it left me feeling like the whole setup was better aligned with people aiming at FAANG-style interview prep than with what I was looking for.
