After the recruiter call, I had a 1-hour technical assessment on HackerRank that felt like code-pairing.

The setup was straightforward: I had to solve a practical problem while talking through my thinking in real time, not just getting the code to work.

The focus was heavily on domain-specific frontend knowledge in whatever stack I said I preferred—React/JavaScript/Angular or other FE tech. They also explicitly expected me to explain my approach and walk through how I was optimizing the solution as I went, including tradeoffs in how I structured the code. Even though it was “just” one hour, the pacing made my explanations part of the challenge.

Overall it landed in the average difficulty
