Superhuman Software Engineer interview experience

During the live coding, I could implement a single version of the solution, but I was also expected to handle an additional constraint after that—so the challenge wasn’t just solving it once, it was adapting.

The design meeting shifted gears toward how I’d structure a solution and think through tradeoffs rather than focusing only on algorithms. Overall, it felt difficult, and the extra-constraint twist made the coding round especially demanding.

I didn’t receive an offer, and what I remember most was how quickly the process required me to go from “solve” to “extend” in the same sitting.
