Superhuman Software Engineer interview experience

What surprised me was how long the whole process was; it stretched out to at least six rounds, and it kept asking for sustained attention across multiple formats.

The biggest emphasis, though, was values fit. Even when the rounds weren’t strictly technical, the process kept circling back to how I thought about work and how I would operate with others. That meant behavioral prep ended up carrying a lot more weight than I initially expected.

I didn’t get an offer. Looking back, the loop’s length plus that values focus made it feel like a test of consistency, not just raw coding ability.
