Stealth Startup Software Engineer interview experience

• Engineering manager discussion (no formal interviews) — I shared my resume and talked directly with the engineering manager about what I was working on and whether it matched the role.

Outcome: One path resulted in an offer and the other didn’t specify an offer, and the takeaway is that some hiring paths were essentially a direct manager screen.
