I had an average, structured loop that combined manager talk, coding in TypeScript, and a practical system design discussion.

Initial screen with hiring manager — We discussed my background, the kinds of projects I’d worked on, and the technologies used.
Coding interview — I solved a LeetCode-style problem, specifically using TypeScript.
System design interview — I walked through specific parts of a system to explain how it could work.

Outcome: I didn’t move forward, and the takeaway is that they wanted not just correct code but the ability to reason about system components.
