For this Software Engineer interview, I hit a heavier LeetCode set plus a backend-oriented discussion, and it felt medium in difficulty.

Technical coding round — two medium LeetCode problems plus one easy and one hard LeetCode problem; I also answered general questions about my background and coursework projects.
Backend architecture discussion — I was asked to describe how a backend service is structured, including key components and how they fit together. Outcome: I was not offered a role, and I learned that the backend explanation needs to be as concrete as the coding work.
