After I was shortlisted, I went into a one-hour interview with three people.

The conversation started with my interest in the position and how my schooling was going, then they shifted into a very concrete set of basic technical concepts.

They asked about things like basic serialization, WCF services, and web APIs, plus specifics like the difference between read-only and a constant. They also covered the difference between WCF and Web API. It was still described as an overall good experience, and the content felt clear and structured rather than random.

No offer came out of it, but the process itself felt standard: I was assessed on foundational technical knowledge
