My process started like a lot of corporate recruiting outreach: I applied online and then got a phone call to schedule.

The recruiter handled the logistics smoothly, and when we connected it was mostly about my situation and what I was looking for next, with a clear focus on why I’d be a fit for the team.

The conversation was short and easygoing, and it didn’t feel adversarial at all. I remember them being fairly transparent, laying out what the role was and why they thought I would match. The questions centered on my motivations and my career direction rather than anything extremely technical or complicated.

Overall, it felt like they moved with intent and speed—quick screening energy, and a strong sense
