Stockholm, StockholmPosted Dec 2022 · Candidate report, summarized by Dataford

My process was the kind that burns time more than it tests depth: I did a recruiter stage online for a role in Stockholm while I was based in the U.S., and for the last round they paid for travel and accommodations for a couple of days.

When I got there, it turned out to be more intense than I expected. The final trip included a total of seven interviews plus lunch with the team.

I was completely jet lagged and hadn’t slept the night before, so by the time the back-to-back conversations started, I felt like I was operating on fumes. Interviewers cycled in and out, and it was clear that only a small portion of the people I spoke with would actually work with me day-to-day. Some interviewers also didn’t seem fully aware of what they’d been assigned to evaluate, which made the day feel even more exhausting.
