I pursued an Account Executive role through several rounds that initially seemed promising but ended unexpectedly with a quick rejection.

HR screening (30 minutes) — I met with HR as a first step to align on my background and the role.
Hiring manager interview (30 minutes) — I discussed fit and experience with the hiring manager.
Peer interviews (multiple 30-minute sessions) — I met with three peers for extended discussions.
Expected presentation step (missed in practice) — I was told to prepare for a presentation to evaluators, but I instead received a rejection email afterward. Outcome: I didn’t move forward, and I left wishing I’d gotten feedback since the process ended abruptly.
