Spacex Software Engineer interview experience

Candidate report, summarized by Dataford

I reached out because I had an upcoming interview tied to the Starlink and Starbase ecosystems, and I wanted to understand what the on-site process looked like—especially for a senior SWE path on the Starlink side.

Before anything really kicked off, the main thing on my mind was how the steps would be structured and what kind of day I should expect.

At the same time, I was trying to get a feel for the work culture at Starbase. It wasn’t just logistics; I was genuinely excited about the opportunity and wanted to make sure I understood the environment I’d be stepping into for the interview that was coming up.
