Spacex Software Engineer interview experience

I started with a 30-minute interview that mixed behavioral with light technical questions, led by the hiring manager.

Then I took a technical test in C++. The instructions offered alternatives, but it was specifically emphasized to do it in C++, and the whole step felt like a direct check on my ability to write and reason in the language they cared about.

I didn’t end up with an offer, but I appreciated how clear the format was: a short behavioral pass, then a focused C++ technical test where they made the expectations explicit.
