Candidate report, summarized by Dataford

I interviewed for a SpaceX role tied to Starlink, and I ended up with a verbal offer from the recruiter about two weeks before the written offer.

What stood out to me was how they framed the next step: even after the verbal piece, getting the written offer depended on an internal approval process.

The recruiter explained that the director of the org had to approve the hiring. That made the waiting period feel more procedural than anything else, and it gave me a clearer picture of why things can take time even when you’ve already been told you’re moving forward.
