My early step started with a CV screening that was done online without requiring a cover letter.

After that, I did a video interview made up of five questions. The prompts included motivation—why I wanted to work there—and there was also a strengths-based question connected to Excel and pivot tables.

They also indicated there would be an assessment centre, though I didn’t complete it as the process didn’t move all the way for me. Overall, the screening felt fairly structured and directly tied to both interest in the role and practical data skills.

I didn’t receive an offer. My reflection was that the Excel/pivot angle made the process feel more work-relevant than generic motivation
