Sonata Software Software Engineer interview experience

My interview felt average to difficult, but the main thing I took away was that the process was good at revealing where I stood.

As the rounds progressed, I realized I needed to revise more and more, especially around the basics that I hadn’t practiced recently. The topics that kept coming back made me focus on strengthening SQL and Python practice.

Even though I didn’t end up with an offer, the difficulty level helped me understand the gaps rather than leaving it vague. I left feeling like I’d underestimated how much refreshment was required, particularly for the data-related parts.
