Snap Software Engineer interview experience

The interview started with the usual get-to-know-you conversation, then moved into a coding assessment on HackerRank with pure coding questions.

The overall vibe was supportive and encouraging rather than adversarial, and I didn’t get the sense I was being tricked—just evaluated on how I think and write code. The process itself felt pretty straightforward: a quick intro followed by the platform-based coding round. I left feeling like I’d had a fair chance to show my work, even though it was still clearly a technical screen.
