My interview process felt pretty standard and very product-aware.

After scheduling, I went into rounds that mixed algorithm-style questions with systems design, and I also got pulled into discussion about Snap itself.

What stood out was how much time went into product opinions—questions along the lines of what I liked about the product and what I disliked. It wasn’t just abstract technical talk; I had to think through how the product fit into the engineering decisions. Overall, it felt straightforward: technical evaluation plus a concrete “what do you think about Snap?” component. The experience didn’t feel overly stressful, just focused.
