Snap Machine Learning Engineer interview experience

Candidate report, summarized by Dataford

My onsite interview was organized into six rounds with a clear breakdown.

It included two coding interviews, and the content across rounds centered on ML fundamentals, ML design, and system design.

Even without getting into every single question, the structure was consistent: they kept the rounds aligned to ML and design thinking rather than general software topics alone. I didn’t receive an offer, but I came away feeling like the role expectations were mostly about connecting model understanding to practical design and engineering constraints.
