After I was headhunted, the recruiter felt genuinely supportive and positioned herself as a single point of contact for any questions.

It almost made the whole process feel easy to manage. Then everything stalled in a way that didn’t match that early promise.

The interview itself was fine, even a bit bland—comfortable, but it didn’t leave much of an imprint. What lingered with me more than the content was the gap between how things were framed and how little communication actually followed.

I didn’t receive an offer. My honest takeaway was that nice words can’t replace real accountability, and the way the process played out didn’t reflect the strong culture I expected.
