I went through a first technical round that lasted about an hour, then a managerial round, then an additional technical round, and finally an HR round. By the time I reached HR, I still wasn’t selected.

What made the whole thing feel tough was that it was face-to-face after multiple rounds, so it took real time and effort to get that far only to get rejected at the HR stage. I left with the impression that the final decision might not have been purely performance-based, and that it wasted time given how late the rejection happened.
