The interview process started with a phone call focused on my general qualifications and how I’d approach a couple scenarios.

It felt easy, and the conversation stayed fairly high-level rather than technical.

Even though the actual interview felt simple, the overall process stretched out. It took about three months, and the communication was very slow along the way, including around timing and start date details.

I did get an offer eventually. What I remember most was the disconnect between the timeline and what people seemed to know—when the offer came through, the person sending it didn’t have clear information about where I was going or the start date.
