Siemens Software Engineer interview experience

Got offer

Positive

Posted Jan 2025 · Candidate report, summarized by Dataford

For Siemens, I went through a relatively tight two-interview loop that stayed very Java-focused.

First, I had an interview centered on core Java with edge cases, and then a second interview that leaned into framework-style questions in a more design/LLD flavor.

They asked me about common building blocks and concurrency-adjacent topics—things like Singleton behavior, how HashMap works, and multithreading. I also got questions comparing map vs flatMap, which pushed me to be precise about functional-style thinking. The recruiter process was straightforward to follow from start to finish, and the technical bar felt fairly clear.

I ultimately received an offer, but I declined it even though
