Los Angeles, CAPosted Apr 2024 · Candidate report, summarized by Dataford

My process was three stages and it moved in a clean line from lighter to more technical.

First I did a relaxed “Getting to Know You” Growth Path, essentially a life-story conversation about my background and how I’d grown.

Then came a take-home challenge. It wasn’t framed as a huge production assignment, and it tested basic Rails skills along with working with an API. I remember that stage feeling manageable compared to the horror stories people sometimes mention.

Finally, I had the last technical interview. The question wasn’t described as very difficult either, and it aligned with the same themes as the take-home—building and reasoning with straightforward Rails/API concepts.
