I was contacted and the whole thing moved quickly—about two weeks—before it essentially ended at the references stage.

What stood out was how the interviews were mostly run by engineering managers, and the focus leaned heavily toward system design. AI was part of the setup they expected me to use while thinking through those system design discussions.

By the time I reached the last set of stages—there were five interviews in total—I went through the remaining steps and then provided references. After that, communication stopped completely. It left me with that unresolved feeling of doing the final administrative piece and still not hearing anything further.
