My interview felt surprisingly smooth and not very challenging.

The whole thing lasted about 40 minutes, and the interviewer was pleasant throughout.

Most of the questions were about getting to know me and understanding my motivations, rather than anything overly technical or high-pressure. I felt comfortable answering and didn’t sense any traps or sudden pivots.

I didn’t end up with an offer. Even so, the experience didn’t feel difficult or stressful—it was more like a simple fit check. My reflection was that the process felt easy in the moment, but that also meant I didn’t get much signal about how close I was to what they needed.
