My timeline ran for about six weeks end to end, and it felt “relatively quick” only compared to some longer processes I’ve had.

From applying to the first recruiter screening took 11 days, then I waited a week for the hiring manager interview, another 11 days for the tech skills interview, 8 days for the onsite, and finally 6 days to hear back. A lot of that delay was just scheduling, but it still added up.

The hardest part for me wasn’t any single technical question—it was the onsite presentation. They expected a presentation within roughly a four-hour window, but it was the kind of assignment where I could have spent weeks digging into details. I definitely went longer than expected, and that pressure was real.
