My experience started like it would be normal: I had a screening interview with an HR manager and someone else who barely made eye contact.

The call included a discussion about the process stages, and I was told I’d hear back by the end of the week.

They said there were three stages and that one would check “culture fit.” That label made me uneasy, and when the week passed, I didn’t hear anything. Eventually, I realized I wasn’t moving forward, and I still never got clear communication—just silence.

I didn’t receive an offer. The part that stuck with me was how quickly it turned into a waiting game with no closure, despite them giving a timeline.
