My interview path was simple on paper: I had a phone conversation with HR, then I met in person with the hiring manager.

I felt like the in-person discussion went fine, but the part I didn’t like came after—communication dragged out.

Even three weeks after the in-person interview, I still hadn’t heard back from HR. The process itself didn’t feel particularly complicated, but the lack of updates and responsiveness made it hard to stay confident about where things stood. That delay was the frustrating end of an otherwise straightforward sequence.
