San Francisco, CAPosted Sep 2013 · Candidate report, summarized by Dataford

I interviewed for an Account Executive role and faced an average-difficulty process that felt less like a structured hiring loop and more like a confrontational resume review.

Interview (format not specified) — A discussion with three interviewers who scrutinized my resume in detail, focusing on why they thought I wasn’t qualified based on my education and experience.
Behavioral tone / difficulty — The conversation felt intentionally intimidating, with the interviewers “picking and poking” at specifics rather than exploring my fit through typical questions. Outcome: I didn’t move forward, and the takeaway was that the process centered on debunking/discounting my background instead of evaluating it with a constructive rubric.
