ScottishPower Software Engineer interview experience

The video interview required me to answer competency-based questions.

They assessed a set of competencies that included communication, relationship building, adaptability, dependability, drive for results and initiative, willingness to learn, and problem solving. The games were paired with the interview as part of the evaluation flow, so it didn’t feel like a single straight interview—it was a broader screen of behaviors and thinking.

Overall difficulty was average, and it was fairly clear they were testing both how I talk and how I demonstrate key working traits.
