Scale Product Manager interview experience

Schedules and plans seemed to shift last minute, and the vibe between people didn’t feel smooth. At some point, I went from a more formal setup to a full panel presentation, then quickly transitioned into a short chat with the hiring manager and then several 1:1 conversations that felt unstructured.

What threw me off most was how little consistency there was in what the interviewers were trying to validate. The panel didn’t have clear through-lines, and the 45-minute segments I experienced didn’t come across like a coordinated evaluation—more like different people testing different things
