I went through what felt like a very thorough but repetitive process.

I had two interviews a week apart, and they were essentially the same from my perspective. It was a retail job, and I couldn’t quite understand why the process needed to be duplicated so closely, especially since they seemed to need multiple people rather than one highly competitive position.

Each round included the basics, including a tour of the store, so I did end up seeing everything more than once. The overall experience wasn’t confusing, it was just redundant.

Even though I didn’t feel personally challenged by the interviews, the repetition left me with a slightly negative impression.
