SAS Software Engineer interview experience

It included a few behavioral questions, and then I moved on to a final round interview with my manager and several senior engineers.

That final conversation was a blend of behavioral and technical discussion, and it stayed mostly anchored to my projects and the technologies I was familiar with. It didn’t feel like a pure trivia test; it felt like they wanted to understand how I’d actually work through real experience.

Overall it felt relatively easy, and the process was pleasant. I didn’t receive an offer, but the interviewing itself didn’t feel hostile or overly stressful.
