My system design question showed up early and set the tone for the rest of the interview.

I was asked about ER diagrams and also got hit with basic DSA questions. The questions leaned heavily toward Java, more than C++ or other languages, and they also covered DBMS concepts.

It felt like they wanted thoroughness with foundations rather than clever hacks. I left the interview feeling like I had enough material to answer parts of it, but the breadth—design plus data basics—made it hard to feel fully confident. I didn’t end up getting an offer.
