SAP Software Engineer interview experience

The questions were easy-to-medium LeetCode-style, and there was an emphasis on my reasoning while coding.

It took three rounds total: two coding rounds and one managerial round. I moved through them without the process feeling chaotic, and each step built logically on the previous one.

I didn’t receive an offer, but the evaluation style felt fair. The smoothness and consistent focus on approach over syntax stood out. My reflection was that I did better when I could talk through my thinking clearly, because that seemed to be what they cared about most during the coding parts.
