S&P Global Software Engineer interview experience

Positive

I got a pretty broad mix of topics.

The first part was about OOP, using real-life examples, and then we moved into DBMS concepts where I was asked questions and given SQL to write.

Coding-wise, I had three easy-level problems, and we also did some puzzles. A final chunk of questions pulled from whatever was on my resume, so it felt like my past work and the concepts tied to it were fair game.

Overall, I didn’t get an offer, but the interview felt balanced—enough variety that I couldn’t rely on only one strength.
