Samsung Austin Semiconductor Software Engineer interview experience

It felt more like screening than anything technical. I remember being asked what I knew about Samsung, what my hobbies were, and that was basically it—no real technical grilling.

Later I went into an informal group interview with an HR representative and two senior engineers. The questions stayed standard and easy to answer, like what my favorite class was, how I’d handled group situations, whether I’d done any public presentations, and whether I’d ever had disputes with people I worked with in groups. Overall, the vibe was relaxed and I didn’t feel like I needed deep technical preparation
