My interview process felt straightforward on paper and fairly conventional in practice.

It started with a recruiter call, then I had conversations that quickly moved into manager-level interviews and a panel-like setup with additional sales leaders. The rounds were generally conversational as long as I was comfortable talking about industry and sales experience.

The questions were very centered on core sales metrics and personal approach—things like quota attainment, outreach activity, what I liked and didn’t like about sales, and then a detailed look at the role itself. What surprised me was how much overlap there was across interviewers; it didn’t feel like different people
