Samsara Software Engineer interview experience

I had to build an md-to-html translator, and while I expected something like regular parsing, the requirements were unique enough that it made the work harder than I anticipated—especially with the reliance on regex.

It also felt uncomfortable because the interviewer wasn’t very personable. The combination of tricky constraints and an interaction style that didn’t feel supportive made the whole session harder to get through than the technical part alone.
