Salesforce Customer Success Engineer interview experience

The process felt generally positive, and the main theme was making sure I was comfortable with technical material specific to the Salesforce platform.

They also looked for how I’d relate to customers, so I expected questions about interacting with people and handling real-world support situations, not just abstract engineering topics. Overall it felt like an interview where they wanted practical readiness—brush up on platform knowledge and be prepared to talk about customer-facing situations—so I left feeling like the expectations were clear, even if they were still asking for substance.
